Conditions we evaluate
- Adrenal nodules found on CT or MRI
- Cushing's syndrome (too much cortisol)
- Adrenal insufficiency, including Addison's disease
- Primary aldosteronism, a common hidden cause of high blood pressure
- Pituitary tumors and prolactinomas
- Acromegaly and growth hormone problems
How testing works
These conditions are diagnosed with specific hormone tests, sometimes done at a set time of day or after a medicine is given. Imaging such as CT or MRI is used when needed. Testing in the right order avoids false results and unneeded scans.
Dr. Siddiqui has published research on rare hormone-related conditions, including tumor-induced low blood sugar, and works with surgeons and other specialists when needed.
